You should use the pistol when an enemy is far away. The benefit is that it has more rounds and does better damage at farther ranges than the shotgun.

dont fear the giant demo they cant literally damage you if you know how to get to them. as long as you have a good team you can defeat it. the first wave of giant demo the trick is shot the shield. it will never move. the 2nd wave the one spouting bombs just get close to them and move around.

There’s a halloween version of Rottenburg called Hellburg that is a million times more harder than this.

reload speed and attack speed is REALLY important for mvm because your going to be spamming your weapon at the robots and it takes too long to reload

ok hear me out, spy in mvm. it can be used for defense, getting rid of the pocket medics on huge robots it can also get rid of engineers and their sentrys also can be used for defending the nuke in a pinch the loadout for mvm is ambassador eternal reward and dead ringer (you can choose any sapper)

I specifically remember this being one of the first TF2 videos I watched so thank you for getting me into this game that I have over 2k hours on now.

I played wave 666 today and I was an Engineer with Rescue Ranger, The Wrangler and The Jag, with my team, another engie, 2 Soldiers, a Pyro and a Sniper, we’ve almost lost to a tank, but we gave it all we got and managed to destroy it even with those spies causing trouble to us, rest of the wave were easy enough afterwards

Is there anyway to still play this wave? Or does it only come around on halloween?

next time use the frontier justice and the mini sentry upgrade to get tones of crits

Fun fact: the beggars bazooka has a faster firing speed then any other rocket launcher, so fast that even with just max reload speed, it still fires faster than a rocket launcher with max reload soeed and firing speed. So you can essentially save 800 credits and spend them instead on more priority upgrades. With how money dependant soldier is, that's a pretty good deal

I've played too many wave 666 missions as engineer(both willingly and unwillingly), and here's a tip If bots go towards the right side, use the widowmaker, if they go through the left side, use the rescue Ranger.

with your aim, shouldn't the widowmaker or frontier justice make sense?
